As a passionate advocate for the role of the arts and creative education in my professional life, it would be remiss of me to be raising my own children without a strong sense of playfulness and openness to trying new things. A spirit of curiosity is such a precious quality in small children and we would all do well to hold onto that as we grow into adulthood.
The importance of play as an educational tool is gaining increasing ground amongst academics and experts around the world and there is a quest to ensure our education systems are updated and relevant for the challenges our children will face in the future in a rapidly changing world.
